Welcome to Tarot: The Cards & The Cauldron

Sunday 28th February 2027 10am - 4pm

Whether you've been fascinated by tarot for years, have a deck gathering dust in a drawer, or have never held a tarot card in your life, this wonderfully immersive day is an invitation to explore the cards in a relaxed, welcoming and playful environment.

Because tarot isn't simply about predicting the future.

It's about storytelling, symbolism, self-discovery and learning to trust the quiet voice of your own intuition.

And what better place to explore it than tucked away in the woodland, surrounded by nature and a small circle of like-minded women?

What awaits you:

Throughout our day together, we'll discover the fascinating world of tarot through a blend of gentle teaching, intuitive exercises, practical readings and shared experiences.

Our day will include:

  • A warm woodland welcome, with delicious refreshments and an introduction to the fascinating history and symbolism of tarot.

  • Understanding the cards, exploring the Major and Minor Arcana, the four suits, their elements and the stories woven through the deck.

  • Meet Your Card, a beautiful reflective exercise connecting with the imagery and meaning of a Major Arcana archetype.

  • A delicious, nourishing lunch, with time to relax, chat and enjoy the warmth of our woodland sanctuary.

  • Learning to read the cards, discovering simple spreads spread and practising readings in a friendly, supportive environment.

  • Awakening your intuition, exploring how to read imagery, colour and symbolism without constantly reaching for the guidebook.

  • A candlelit closing circle, bringing our discoveries together through a shared tarot experience and a moment of reflection.

There will be plenty of laughter, fascinating conversations, perhaps a few surprising discoveries and, of course, lots of tea and cake.

More than a tarot workshop:

This isn't a formal classroom course, and there are no complicated spreads or expectations to memorise 78 card meanings in a single day!

Instead, we'll take our time.

We'll explore, experiment, ask questions, share stories and discover that reading tarot can be wonderfully accessible when we stop worrying about getting everything 'right'.

You may discover a new way to reflect on life's challenges, a deeper appreciation for the symbolism of the cards, or simply the confidence to finally pick up that tarot deck and start using it.

And if you already read tarot, you'll find plenty of opportunities to reconnect with your cards in a fresh, intuitive way.

A little magick amongst the trees:

Our retreat takes place in a beautiful canvas Emperor tent nestled in our private Cheshire woodland.

Inside, expect sumptuous fabrics, flickering lanterns, beautiful tarot decks, cosy blankets and the comforting warmth of our wood-burning stove.

With just 10 women joining us, the day is designed to feel intimate, relaxed and wonderfully welcoming.

No experience is necessary, and you're welcome to bring your favourite tarot deck if you have one. We'll have decks available for you to explore too.

You'll also leave with a little tarot-inspired gift to continue your journey at home.

Your invitation:

Perhaps you've always been curious about tarot but never known where to begin.

Perhaps you've been reading for years but have lost a little confidence in your intuition.

Or perhaps you simply fancy spending a rather magical day in the woods with a group of lovely women.

Whatever brings you here, we'd love to welcome you.

Because sometimes the most interesting thing the cards reveal isn't what's going to happen next, but what we already know deep within ourselves.

Your retreat includes: All guided activities, tarot tuition and practical exercises, use of tarot decks, a nourishing lunch, refreshments throughout the day and a little keepsake to take home.
