Join us for a wonderfully restorative day in our beautiful woodland retreat space, where the wood-burning stove will be glowing, the kettle will be on, and the outside world can wait.
Inspired by the ancient Celtic festival of Imbolc, this intimate gathering celebrates the gentle emergence of spring, the return of the light and the beautiful possibility of new beginnings.
But this isn't about making grand resolutions, setting impossible goals or rushing to become a new version of yourself.
It's about slowing down enough to notice what is already beginning to grow within you.
What awaits you:
Throughout our day together, we'll explore the themes of rest, renewal and emergence through a beautiful blend of seasonal ritual, meditation, creativity and connection.
Our experiences will include:
An Imbolc opening circle, exploring the ancient traditions of this seasonal festival and what the return of the light might mean for us.
A deeply restorative guided meditation, allowing you to reconnect with yourself and listen to what is quietly calling for your attention.
Candle magick, creating and dressing your own intention candle with herbs and botanicals.
A nourishing seasonal lunch, enjoyed together in the warmth of our woodland sanctuary.
A gentle woodland wander, noticing the earliest signs of spring and reconnecting with the rhythms of nature.
A seed-planting ritual, creating a living symbol of something you would like to nurture in the months ahead.
A closing fire ceremony, releasing what belongs to winter and welcoming the possibilities of the season to come.
There will also be plenty of time for conversation, laughter, reflection, delicious refreshments and simply enjoying the company of other women.
A little woodland sanctuary:
Our retreat takes place in a beautiful canvas Emperor tent nestled amongst the trees in our private Cheshire garden.
Think soft blankets, flickering lanterns, fresh greenery, warm drinks, comfortable seating and the gentle crackle of the wood-burning stove.
With just 10 places available, this is a wonderfully intimate experience where everyone has space to feel welcome, included and completely at ease.
You'll leave with your handmade Imbolc candle, your planted seeds, a little seasonal gift and, we hope, a renewed sense of possibility.
